Dream Hat

I haven't posted here for many moons... But I figured this would be a good place to put my very own free knitting pattern! I designed a hat. It's so dang simple but I'm in love with it. Thick and thin yarn is the best! Anyways, thought I'd add it to Ravelry and share it with the knitting world.

DREAM HAT!

Materials: size 10.5 16 inch circular needles and one set of 10.5 dpns
Yarn: about 90-100 yarns of any bulky weight yarn. I used di.Ve' Fiamma
Gauge: Well, I don't really care, but the label says 15 rows by 12 stitches in a 10cx10 cm square

CO 60 stitches. Join. Don't twist.
2x2 rib around. Rep 6 times.

Round 1: Purl all stitches
Round 2: Knit all
Round 3: Knit all
Round 4: Knit all
Round 5: Purl all
Round 6: Purl all
Repeat rounds 2-6 FIVE times

Decrease Rounds:

2: Knit all
3: *k7, k2tog rep from*. 48 stitches
4: Purl all
5: *p6, p2tog rep from*. 42 stitches
transfer to dpns

Break yarn. Thread tail onto tapestry needle, thread throught remaining stitches and pull tight. Weave loose ends.

Love your Dream Hat.
